I'm always a little skeptical of any establishment attached to a gas station but at the top of Steam Valley Mountain the options are fairly limited and we were hungry. This place has been around since 1939 and they specialize in real turkey. Not deli sliced turkey but real turkey by the oven load. The menu has other options, it's similar to a diner, and works pretty much as a truck stop in the Pennsylvania northern tier. We've now stopped several times while heading to New York and we always order one of their turkey specials. The restaurant is clean but slightly dated. Reminds me of a cracker barrel -- well seasoned and aged. I'm not too picky and it does the trick. Service has been great, several refills and quick to take the spent plates. The turkey special comes with all fixin's (mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, corn, cranberry) and sherbert? It's under $20 and you really can't beat it. I'm not saying it's Thanksgiving good but it's a close substitute. When your options are this or fast food, and you're not watching your calorie intake, do yourself a favor and give Fry's a try!!!

Great food; great service; very clean; super nice staff; and has gas station next door. Planty of parking and has a wide open parking area lots of room for an RV or rig to park. Highly recommended mend it to those passing Thur the area.

The ambience was very relaxed. Diner style furnishings. Food was very tasty but not overdone with flavour. All very home made ingredients. Good thing to note is that most dinners have the ability to be made smaller sized too. Flash flooding had hit the surrounding communities just before we arrived and they opened up extra areas to take care of the locals and others displaced. Definitely would stop again!

Warm Welcome and Wonderful Fare! Arriving on a Friday night just before closing, we were graciously seated despite the impending closure. Taking our time with our orders, we indulged in mozzarella sticks before diving into our meals and dessert, completely unaware that the restaurant was closing soon. Feeling guilty for unknowingly overstaying, we were treated to impeccable service throughout. The turkey club, a perennial favorite, did not disappoint, while the buffalo chicken wrap proved decent. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed their steak sandwich and country ham, and the lemon meringue pie was a heavenly delight--large enough to share! For dessert, the hot fudge sundae and chocolate milkshake were both generously sized and delicious. Despite our unintentional late stay, the staff remained accommodating and attentive. We make it a point to visit whenever we're in the area, but do keep in mind their early closing time, typically around 7 or 7:30 every night!

Good place to stop when traveling to take a quick break. Smoked Turkey wrap was good. Service was fast.

Service was fast and friendly. We ordered the World famous turkey dinner. The meal consisted of turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, corn, and a side of rainbow sherbet. They usually serve it with cranberry sauce but they were out. Overall, the meal was pretty good. Not the same as homemade, but close enough. It also came with a side salad or coleslaw. Both were delicious and fresh.

What a great place enjoyed it every time I stopped been going there for 50 years. Nice little country restaurant not too little though. As a little store people are friendly service is great and the food melt. Let me tell you if you're hungry for Thanksgiving they got your six.

Still great!! Just how my husband remembered it from his childhood!!! Thank you for the great service!

Nicely decorated interior, bright and clean. We stopped here for lunch on our way from Tioga to Maryland. Good food, good service, nice ambiance, value for money. We had Maryland Style CrabCakes and Steak with Mushrooms. Both were good, nicely prepared. A good place for a stopover to refresh. It also has a gas station next to it.
